Description I decided to try something new! This is the cover of a box that looks like a book; aka a book safe, hidden compartment or a book box.
It looks like a leather bound book with gilded pages but lift the cover and you see it is actually hollow inside.
I've included jasper, cats eye cabochons, brass and persimmon colored glass gems.
I really love the way this turned out!

I've been seeing them many places. I think it was Michael's, Garden Ridge and...somewhere else too but I can't remember right now

Yeah, I've tried looking a few times but had no luck... the ones I've come accross online are usually from the US, which means the shipping costs are HUGE I'll keep on scouring op shops and craft shows for now!

yeah just type in hocus pocus book and its a book with an eye on it, clearly i have not watched it in years as its nothing like yours it must have been the detail in the middle that reminded me of the eye of it and the colour
