Gregor's sister, Margaret--er... Boots. What a cutie. ^__^I think the biggest challenge was trying to make sure she looks two-years-old. I'm not used to drawing toddlers. xD

also... on a side note, I'm not quite sure what's going on with her hands. I tried to gesture-draw them into a folded position but... just--don't look too closely at them, k thnx. ^__^;

This is pretty much exactly how I imagined Boots to look. I could never think of in my mind the perfect way for her but all different sections of her appeared in my imagination. I could just never put them together perfectly. You have put all my thoughts of her together in one amazing piece. Thank you for somehow seeing her the same way I do. Aw, thanks! That's one of my favorite things about drawing characters that don't have many (if any at all) official "cannon" illustrations of them--being able to have the character in my mind (personality and image), draw them out, and find that it was the exact same thing someone else had in mind. So thank you very much! ^__^

On a side note, I think she looks too skinny to be two. Aren't toddlers still usually kinda chubby, since they're so close to infancy?
In my opinion, I think she looks three. (Which isn't so bad, since I think she turns three about halfway through the series...)

Yeah, it could be that she's a little thin. I don't really hang out with too many two-year-olds, so I can't say for sure, I guess. ^__^; I think it depends on the two-year-old too.

She's so cute!!! She looks like she reeeeeeeaaaaaally wants to pet someone she's not supposed to pet, and is trying very to not to... She looks just adorable! I love that sort of wide-eyed innocence she has.

I don't do too many drawings of two-year-olds, so I really tried my best to capture that "wide-eyed innocence" that a two-year-old would have--and basically just make her look like she's two and not older than two. ^__^

Yeah, I was quite pleased with how she turned out. Except for the lacking legs. It would have been nice if she had had some legs. But let's face it, I am teh sux at legs. xD This is why I have plans to take a LIFE DRAWING class next spring.
