Well um, I wanted to do some "Doki Doki Literature Club!" fan-art, and since I found out how to make those funny blurred meme pictures, I decided to make my first fan-art for that game....this. This right here. A Triggered Monika.ΒOriginally my first fan-art for DDLC would be the ending where Monika kidnaps takes you to her secret space classroom after she murdered sent her friends on a nice, long vacation. But I decided to draw that another time.
DDLC terrifies me btw. I'm still not used to it's horrors. I think it's a really cool and unique game, though.

I did NOT draw the background. Backgrounds are a HUUGE struggle for me. So I just got a screenshot of the classroom from the actual game and did a bunch of editing. So uh, the background belongs to whoever drew the art for Dan Salvato.
Anyway, I really hope you all like it!

I understand WHY she did it. Of course, it doesn't make her actions justifiable, though.
I still like her more than Yuri, however. I dunno what it is about Yuri, but she just kinda...creeps me out. (maybe when you pick her for the festival, and she reveals she collects knives and she just licks the players bloody finger. Like wtf.)
But oh yeah. She's definitely a stalker lol.Β

It's funny because for me it was the exact opposite? I liked Yuri more than Monika, and when I found out about her knife collection I was actually really excited because I'm ALSO into knife/weapon collecting. And for the licking part? Didn't really bother me , I'm used to weird things.

Well a lot of people do consider Yuri to be "best girl" lol.
Sayori and Natsuki are my 2 favorites, though (cause I relate to them the most.)
But of course, I don't "hate" any of the girls

Yeah, Natsuki is a Tsundere. And I'm not really a fan of characters like her either, so I thought I'd end up disliking her. Surprisingly I didn't though.
I found her interesting and I relate to her thing with manga and anime

I know that she was a Tsundere and I know about them, but I hate it when they're THAT bossy even though I could see why they act like that.
I would probably be classified as a Tsundere myself but.. At the same time I'm not a fan of the cutesy stuff Natsuki had going on
Also there's jokes going around saying Natsuki is a trap ?!

Natsuki being a trap is both a joke and a sort of "theory". Some people genuinely believe she's actually a boy. I think Dan Salvato confirmed that all 4 of them are girls, though.

I played DDLC at a friend's request (knowing it was a horror game), and at the start I thought, "I like all these girls except Monika. She's cute but... eh? Not my type. She'll be the last I go for." Little did I know.

Lol. Monika does look quite suspicious even from the very beginning of the game. Even if you're one of the few people to notice that she doesn't have a chibi on the writing your poem part of the game.

TBH I kinda wanted to try and make poems for Monika to begin with in the game. I'm not a fan of lolis, Yuri bored me, and Saiyori... I already knew what would happen. I didn't want to be hangingΒ Β around with a bunch of love interests I didn't like.

I think it would've been cool if we actually got to interact with her more. Even if she's not one of the "love interests". The games description says to spend more time with her, but you can't lol.Β
Though I guess being able to spend more time with her would defeat the purpose of the game

I actually would be interested in talking to her normally. Maybe doing that would have her drop hints of why she's self-aware.
Yeah, I actually would like to see something where you can avoid the deaths of the others like that. But yeah, it would ruin everything.
Okay, saying I disliked them was a bit harsh. Besides the lolisms, I actually did enjoy Natsuki and... goddamn Yuri's hyperrealistic eyes are HAWT (kidding, but I found that strangely hilarious).
