After seeing the Deadpool movie with my best friend last weekend (the movie was freaking amazing by the way. You should all go see it if you haven't already ) it made me remember that I had created a Marvel OC like last year, but I never completely fleshed out her character. I only gave her her eyes and hair color and a name, but I didn't go any deeper than that. So after seeing the movie, I decided to bring her back and give her more depth. Sorry if it's too long XD

Her name is Emilia (Emily) Bennett. She's a 17 year old mutant who's basically a water bender, except she uses ice waaay more than water she can use both, though Her body temperature is pretty low, so when she touches some other living creature (or vice versa) she feels like a dead person. She can't survive very long in places that are too hot, either. Her grandfather was a scientist studying other mutants with a similar type ability in a lab (in Antarctica). His experiments backfired and he ended up getting mutant genes mixed in with his. His hair turned white and his eyes turned baby blue. He couldn't use water or ice as a power or anything like Emily can, but he could predict when it would snow or rain. Since his wife was "real" she still loved him dearly and didn't leave him. They had a child (Emily's mother) but she was born a regular human being (her father's genes skipped her and went straight to Emily) or so they thought *wink wink* Since Emily's mother wasn't very trusting of mutants since she was often in bad situations with them (such as pick-pocketing and bullying) she didn't like her father very much, thinking all mutants were the same (despite her father trying very desperately to get along with her, it didn't work out) When she was pregnant with Emily, she told her father "if my child is born like you, then I don't want it" and she meant what she said. When she was born, she gave her to her grandfather and went who knows where. Emily's father was a sperm donor, so she never knew him, and was raised in solitude by her grandfather (her grandmother died after giving birth to her mother, so she never knew her either). She was happy, though. She loved her grandfather more than anything, and he loved her. Now I'm sure you're wondering how she knows Wade. Well, when she was a freshman in highschool (she skipped her other grades. Her grandfather was afraid she'd be bullied severely, but once she entered highschool, he thought she'd be able to defend herself better. Buut he hired a mercenary to watch out for her, just in case) she was walking home, and got pulled into a back alley by some gang members. They were going to steal her stuff and other things when Wade Wilson (the mercenary) saved her. She was thankful and very desperate for a friend. So she thought since her grandpa hired him anyway, they could hang out. He was of course not sure if that was a good idea or not (a highschool kid being friends with a grown man and all) but he said "why the hell not?" and started hanging out with her. They were friends for awhile, until Wade suddenly disappeared without telling her where he was going or why he left (he had cancer, and didn't wanna tell her) she was upset for awhile and never completely got over her only friend leaving her. Then when she entered her junior year of highschool hadn't seen Wade in 2 years, some men trying to steal her grandfathers research broke into her home. She was home when it happened but he told her to hide. The men took her grandfather away, though, and made a complete mess of his lab. She decided since Wade and her grandfather were gone, she had no reason to continue school so she dropped out, got a job at a diner, and rented an apartment. Now 17, she planned to keep tracking down the men who took her grandfather and his research. Now, how she knows Deadpool. Well, it was pretty much the same situation as before. She was walking to her apartment from work, when some men started bothering her. She of course had more courage now and was going to fight them off, when Deadpool did it instead. She of course didn't know it was Wade under that mask, and she was actually really suspicious and cautious of this man in red and black. He knew who she was right away, though, but didn't tell her he was Wade for some time. He basically started stalking her and whatnot (which made her extremely annoyed and uncomfortable). He was trying to get to know her all over again, and when he finally told her he was Wade she punched him square in his jaw. He thought he deserved that (darn right he did) for leaving her, but he explained the whole situation as to why he left, and she was still a bit upset, but she understood and apologized for punching him. He decided to help her find the guys who took her grandfather away, and they started to become friends again. On a side note, Emily likes to go to Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters from time-to-time. She's not really familiar with any of the students except Bobby Drake (Iceman) she relates to him since they're both mutants who use ice. She knows the teachers pretty well, though. Such as Prof. X, Storm, Jean, Scott, and Logan (not really a teacher, but still).
