awe, you think i'm interesting, HOW AWESOME!! I think you're interesting too Rob, A+

Create me is Christian based, Somewhere in the Bible it talks about how God made man--in greater details than in genesis. That's where I got my idea. I'll have to find those scriptures >_<

are you christian?, or some beliver of an religion?, among the bible storys sure one can find some inspiring ideas, XD, but im so lazy to start reading!

I'm a christian, yes It's easy to draw from Bible stories, but the ideas given to me deal more with current issues. Lol I wont be doing paintings of David and Goliath or any of that, lol! In fact, a lot of my work is Christian based, you just can't really tell

orochi-rob In reply to BeaGifted [2009-05-26 15:35:25 +0000 UTC]

well, why not?, i really love the fantasy, those kind of fantastic stories, will be nice to see how your imagination could capture those momments, since in the bible you can find every topic related to past, present or future in a way, its nice to find inspiration there...

about talking of god, have you see that movie called Zeitgeist?, in a deviation of yours, called Greed, its reflected the very escence of that movie, but in this movie, they talk bad about religions, especially chirstianism.

i saw it and had some emotional crisis, did you see it and surpass that beliving like normal?

I know, there's a lot that can be grasped in drawing an illustration based off biblical stories but, I don't believe I was called to do just that ^_^.

I've seen a little bit of Zeitgeist, and I know they bad-mouth christianity. I didn't watch that part, but I did have a teacher in college who badmouthed christianity just as bad. Sad thing is, I had to sit there and listen to it. It shook me up a bit in my faith, but really, it dosn't matter to me what any man says. There will always be people trying to put God in a box-- Looking for whatever evidence they can to disprove his existence. Sometimes people can be so confident in their disbelief and their logic that it actually becomes convincing. But I've learned not to put my trust and faith in man, therefore, I can continue to live my life in obedience to christ, because He is alive in me. After all, there's too much proof that God exists to deny him. Do me a favor. If you have a bible, read Romans chapter 1, verses 18 to 25

youre right about that theres so much proves that god exist, that verse of romanos its right about that theme, logic can twist peoples mind (mine too sometimes), ill pray god to quit those dudes over me, and put my mind clear... you know, im quite sure that theres a god over all of us, what im not really sure its about the christ, i dont know if it was a real history or was a "parabola", if he really came to the world, if i can not have a logical answer to that question, i want god to give me a i dont know, the gift to understand with faith, more than phisical proves!

I could spend hours trying to convince you that Christ is real, and what the bible teaches is accurate concerning Him. I could give you scholarly proof of his existence, and share of my own miraculous experiences that I’ve had since I’ve been saved. But, to be honest, it would really do no good if your heart isn’t there. It wasn’t until I actually began to search, did I find God. I struggled at first because my trust was in my logic. Certain things, I just couldn’t make sense of. But the more I saw God do in my life, and in the lives of those around me, I just couldn’t deny it. My logic couldn’t make sense of God, but my faith did. Whatever you do, don’t go looking for miracles though. That’s not how you find God. Sincerely seek to get to know Him. Trust Him at his word, receive the Holy Spirit, and I promise you, you’ll get understanding ^_^.

^o^, for sure youre right!!, but i wonder at what age you started beliving with all that faith?, what exactly happened to you that made you trust with that confident that crist was there with you?

Actually I was saved in March of 2007, so, I wasn't raised up in the church, thank goodness >_<; But really I just wanted to get to know God, and not for the wrong reasons such as for personal gain or because I suffered personal loss. I wanted to do it right, with the right motive, like any solid relationship is built. It's really that simple. When you take time to get to know someone, you learn to love and trust them.

On the side note, I was also tired of the way things were. I was in college for a year, and then all of a sudden my mom lost her job; I couldn’t get back into school because of the debt I owed. Couldn't get a job either, almost lost my home and would have been out on the streets. But what I feared most was losing my mom. She worked herself to exhaustion to get bills paid--things were real tough, and I was so scared that I'd lose her because I feared it would literally break me...and, I'm afraid it would have at that time. My mom was all I had to depend on--my provider, therefore, she was kind of like a god-figure to me, but, I knew that I had my faith in the wrong place. It was about that time that a lot of my friends got saved--I mean the most unlikely people too. They started talking to me about Jesus and at first I didn't want to hear it, it made me sick. I'm just being honest, I didn't want to hear anything about God. But I let in eventually, went to church and from there it was history. Everything my pastor said was an answer to prayer for me. It was like God was speaking "directly" to my situation, and when service was over, I went up and told the pastor I wanted to be saved. He asked me why and I said "I just want to know God" As I saw it then, I didn't have anything to lose and everything to gain. From then on, I learned to depend on God. Since then, I got a job, paid off my school and continuing my education. Me and my mom worked together to keep our home and I'm now on the move, doing his work! The miracles I've seen along the way also keep my faith going. Sorry for the long story >_<

omg!! what a book XD, its okey! XD, just kidding!, but im glad to hear that, its like u found peace in no man, i passes by that in the church, sometimes i go askin myself about some kind of situation, and when i go, i can sense that the pastor its speaking not with all of us, just for me, the things that i was wondering, have answers there! o__o!!, god must be hating me, with so much prove im still doubting... T__T, since now, i have nothing against god, i have things against the sistem and the way it is, i support that zeitgeist movement, not cause they promote an ateist idea, just cause they propouse a new sistem better for human beings... what you think about that? have you heared about the venus proyect?
