I think you people know what inspired this little bit....As I search under "Fable", I can't help but notice numerous fics in which Reaver is revealed to be the Hero of Brightwall's 'real father'.
Although the idea is not impossible, it would still be more believable if Reaver was actually IN CHARACTER. Unfortunately in what I have read so far, he's not. He's usually doing something noble, like saving Queen Sparrow from an abusive husband (Yes, Queen Sparrow, who survived being shot TWICE).
Yes I know, he plays by his own rules, he could just happen to shoot said abusive husband. But no. It HAS to be "because he secretly loved the Queen"...
...Oh, and somehow ONLY Logan is the spawn of the EVIL abusive-rapist husband, because he's the undesirable child. Yet the child of Reaver is righteous and knows in her pure heart that Reaver is really a virtuous man that you can trust.
...I mean in Fable III He seems ever-so wrapped up in the Hero of Bowerstone am I right? I mean, throughout all of his scenes, he just won't stop talking and reminiscing about her... Right?
Well, I've said my piece, please try not to get offended. After all, I'm only venting here, it's not like I'm going to stop you guys or anything. I'm not really looking for an argument either, I'm just saying how I feel...

Yes it's annoying when people are placed out of character but if the ppl writing cannot help it for lack of experience then I have somesympathy for the.

In MY opinion (cause I'll pretend you care) Reaver seems too painfully light in the loafers to sire heroic bastards.

I love you forever! I hate the stupid fanfics that are completely and totally out of character!! It's okay to change them a little bit, but if your going to scrap their whole personality you might as well just make it an OC!

Given the gender of the parent changes depending on what you were in Fable 2, the default setting in 3 is King anyway, I'm pretty sure Reaver wouldn't be siring any offspring. I guess you have to give people Kudos for imagination for the filler between games even if it would be next to impossible. This just makes me think of the Maury show though one would almost expect Walter and Jasper there just as back up options lol.

You see, it would make so much more sense if Reaver was Logan's father... I mean, you see their complexsion? Their like-ness in each other? It'd make all the sense in the world. That, and if he was, it wouldn't be hard for Reaver to seduce Sparrow for a night. We all know what kind of man he is. A one night stand wouldn't be unbelievable.
But Reaver and Sparrow being DEEPLY IN LOVE... yeahright. Even with an EVIL Sparrow, that's just ridiculous.
Ah well.. the OOC-ness of it all is crazy. xD

You can't trust fandom to keep characters in-character. Sure, you could say Reaver may have actually liked Sparrow, which would explain Reaver not killing the Prince(ss) during the Masquerade; kind of a favor to an old friend. But if you think about it, if he was in love with her, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have routed her gypsy family from their home or built over the entrance to the Guild. I guess it kind of depends on how you played Sparrow; I figure if you played her as pretty loose, you could work in that they maybe had a fling once, depending on when Reaver got back from Samarkand. But Reaver being romantic? Yeah, no.
And Sparrow being abused? Seriously? After doing ten years in the Spire, Sparrow would be able to bitchslap any man who raised a hand to her into the stratosphere. No matter what personality you gave her, there's no explainable reason why she'd bow to abuse.
Canon abuse and character derailment hurts me. /rant
