Description
Professor Matai is the current Pokemon Professor of the Kiora region (which is based on New Zealand). He is humble & a bit standoffish even towards his young pupils. There are many rumors flying around Kiora about him, his ‘true identity’, the 'real’ reason he left his home & became a professor in an entirely different region, etc…These rumors don’t seem to bother him much though, as he continues to do his research in his lab, accompanied by his faithful friend Silvally, of coarse.
