See, although I know on some level that getting the apple thrown at It is prolly gonna make Nev pissed and homicidal, the cool thing about It is how I'm also wondering if It might not. It's a crazy killer, sure, but it's like how It was just walking away right there- it usually seems to have a motive for killing beyond blood lust. Or not. It's so unpredictable a being, I can't wait to see what happens next!

Shortly after this page went up I remembered Nev couldn't even feel the impact of the apple. Guess it still heard the noise and noticed the change in vision of the head moving forward or something. Sure. That.

And that's what makes it cool. It's different from your usual homicidal killing-machines (was that redundant?)
Well, assuming Nev's helmet is roughly as thick as, say, a ski-helmet, it probably COULD feel/hear the impact vaguely, although it wouldn't hurt (personal experience says so). Probably what happened. Unless I'm missing something about Nev/Nev's helmet. Or you just let something secret about Nev slip. One of those.

It wasn't all that clear on Nev's character sheet I suppose, but one of Nev's greatest advantages/ disadvantages is it can't feel pain. Part of the inactive cells that make it so weak to diseases.
So if Nev were, say, hypothetically, being burnt by acid, (maybe from someone's forearms or something, I dunno) the pain would not get to it at all. But if, say, that acid damage was somewhere Nev couldn't even see it right away, it might not notice until it had eaten a massive hole.

Oh, right XD I knew that at some point... Although in my experience, unless it has no sense of touch at all, the impact would've sent... 'vibrations' would be the best word, I guess... through the helmet.
Of course. And, hypothetically, Nev's own HAZMAT gear is not capable of dealing with caustic acids, especially hypothetically organic ones?

Hypothetically it's not made for that so much as keeping out anything airborn/ radiated. Acid might take a little long to get through it than normal, though. The thought has only recently came to me.
