Elmo was an integral part of any normal child's life. While he was a tad bit annoying, he was cool with all the celebrities, which made him, by the law of relativity, cool. His wide array of intelligible friends was always comical and relaxing as well.Related content

Anyone born from 1998 on remembers that annoying tune/ Granted, it's a rework of his hit Elmo's Song, but still...anyone who watched the show BEFORE the 80s (i.e. from the show's 1969 inception to throughout the 1970s) didn't know Elmo, because Elmo did NOT exist until the 1980s officially.
