Raphael is the hot headed, quick to fight member of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He is quick to shoot down anything his brothers planned, and always prefers running into a fight head-on. He usually plays the tough guy, but truly cares about his brothers. Mostly depicted wearing a red bandana with his signature weapons the sai, He is usually rather aggressive, sullen, and rebellious. Raphael has been shown to be the strongest of the turtles physically. He is the second oldest of the four and has a somewhat turbulent relationship with his older brother, Leonardo, because of his status as group leader. He is generally the most likely to experience extremes of emotion and is named after Raphael Sanzio.
