Description As a child, I wondered why some snails do have a shell and some do not. One day, it came to my mind that slugs simply must be homeless snails.

This idea was stuck in my sketchbook for a long time and I'm glad I've finally drawn it.
It's far from perfect, but it's my first drawn story in quite a while, so I'm looking forward to your comments.

From a snail to a slug.

Is it accurate to say that the slugs are homeless snails?

Oh!!

Aw... so cute! But I kinda feel sorry for the snail. Aren't snails without a shell called a slug? Or are they something different?

Aww yes, it looks so sad... but I'm sure it will eventually find a new shell!
I think snails without a shell are called slug, yes. But I'm not sure since I'm German and we say "Schnecke" and "Nacktschnecke", which would be "snail" and "naked snail".
