Description
Character's Name: Hans "Skeleton" Jones
Age: 70, but turned into an angry power hungry fire skeleton thing at age 25
Gender: He/him
Species: fire spirit/human skull
Height/Weight: 2lbs, skull sized
WDSA Status: Registered
Abilities:
- despite being just a skull, Skeleton can speak. loudly.
- if in contact with fire, Skeleton will gain the ability to grow up to 20ft and be a horrible giant flaming monster. to keep this form he needs to consume material near constantly to 'feed the flame'. he also needs oxygen, so if you can starve him of air or material he's out of luck.
- Skeleton is quite well versed in the magical arts. he focused on fire magic, but still knows a lot about magic in general, even if he didn't practice it himself, and doesn't have the hands or limbs to practice magic now.
- Despite being "only a skull" when he's not a giant fire monster, Skeleton is very hard to destroy. hit him with a hammer, it'll bounce right off.
Weaknesses:
- when in his giant horrible monster form, water is painful, and if you can drench him with enough of it, the flames will fade and he'll be just a skull once more.
- He can't move on his own when he's just a skull.
History: when Hans was a child, he was bullied horribly. He was a very socially awkward child, on top of being very frail and kind of short, and often came home with a black eye, or bruises. Kids can be mean. His grandmother, who had secret knowledge of the magic world, decided finally that enough was enough, and her grandson would not be treated like this any more. She taught him small spells and tricks to get out of danger and even the playing field. This helped Hans, but soon it wasn't enough to get out of a beating. After one particularly bad day, Hans expressed his desire to really hurt his bullies like they'd hurt him. His grandmother disapproved, magic was not for revenge. The young teen was crushed, and felt hurt when she scolded him. didn't he deserve revenge? How would the bullies learn if all he did was run away? In secret, Hans began to sneak away her book of spells, and taught himself the ways of more harmful magics. His grandmother died, suddenly one day, and all the chains holding Hans back from revenge broke. He set the homes of those who hurt him ablaze, and found it soothed something inside him, just a little. He continued, and eventually he came to the conclusion that everyone was really an awful person, and no one deserved any better than to be eaten by flames. Everyone was awful. he kept chasing stronger and stronger magic, and eventually he preformed a ritual and it consumed him. He went on to terrorize a small town, but before he could do too much, a rainstorm broke out. Hans's flame body disappeared, and his flesh body had been consumed. all that was left was his skull. but he was still alive, and still very angry. Someone picked up the livid, loud, rude skull and passed it along to someone who could handle such a dangerous thing. Hans refused to tell anyone his name, and so now he's just known as "skeleton" or "that skeleton that really wants to be set on fire, but don't do that". He currently 'lives' in an underground storage facility for haunted, cursed, or sometimes even enchanted dangerous objects. Some very nice people have tried to help him over the years, and for their efforts he's become slightly less homicidal.
Description: A skull missing it's bottom jaw. two red lights mimic eyes.
personality: Hans is mean. Hans is angry. Hans is lonely. He finds himself wishing for friendship, and doesn't like it. he's not a fan. but he still wants friends. Maybe not friends but... someone to talk to? He sees this as a flaw. Were he released and set on fire to roam, he still would cause destruction. but he would spare children and hospitals. It's an improvement...? Perhaps the right people can show him the light. he fears death, or truly dying, and halfheartedly cooperates with the WDSA just enough so that, in his eyes, they won't call him a waste of time and just stick him in a box and bury it, or put the effort into finding a way to 'kill' him.
