    Abilities:
Accelerated healing- Nik heals from non-magical wounds very quickly and is only very rarely sick.
Shapeshifting- Nik has the ability to shapeshift into a large bipedal wolf and a large mundane wolf. She can also do a half-shift for a wolfman type look.
Spiritually Resistant- Nik is not much bothered by unholy magic, holy magic, or any nonsense claiming to be from a ‘higher power’.
Enhanced Strength- Nik is very strong. She is strongest when transformed.
Enhanced Senses- Nik has good hearing and sense of smell. These traits are stronger when transformed.
    Weaknesses:
Silver- Silver burns upon contact and wounds inflicted by silver will not heal on their own and must be treated medically.
Magic- Arcane magic has special effectiveness against Nik
    History: When asked what kind of werewolf she is, Nikola would tell you that she was the hairy kind. When pressed, Nik would tell you that hundreds of years ago her father made a wager with the devil and beat him good. The devil, angered by her crafty father, cursed the man to be a wolf by night. He plagued grain fields and farms until he came upon a holy man that looked into his soul and stabbed him between the eyes. At once, he became aware of himself. The holy man told him he was free from the devil’s influence, was in full control of his wolf shape, and recruited him to fight evil at his side.
    Regardless of what really happened, Nik was born in 1908 in Illinois. Her mother and father had a small farm there, and Nik grew up amongst chickens and cows. At the age of 7, Nik turned into a wolf pup and stayed that way for nearly two months, until one day she just transformed back into a little girl.
    Nik went traveling when the great depression hit, and spent a decade in the woods living as a wolf. She eventually got all the way to Washington and joined up with a werewolf pack. She made a lot of interesting friends, learned the ins and outs of architecture and how to build a damn good cabin, and discovered a love of art and literature. Sometime in the sixties, her father made the trip up to join her, and in 1970 she married a human man one of her packmates was distantly related to. Their marriage was brief; she divorced him in 1976, but produced a daughter, Angelica. Angelica is mostly human, although her aging has been slowed and her teeth are very sharp.
    As the local government moved away from policies that included ‘just shoot the thing’, Nik began to hound them about the treatment of supers and advocate for the rights of those afflicted with lycanthropy. She now spends her time making chainsaw sculptures and teaching newly bitten werewolves how to control themselves and babysitting them during full moons. Nik enjoys her work and has something of a pseudo ‘pack’, but the nature of the pack is very fluid and people come and go.
