Froglites are an amphibian-like species of alien creature that enjoy traveling the universe! They come in many colors, inspired by fish.

Males tend have bigger gill frills than females, and longer whiskers, but there are exceptions to this. (note: froglites are very accepting of various gender identities. Your Froglite can be trans or non-binary.)

Froglites are both bipedal and quadrupedal, but prefer to swim if the option is available.

Froglites lay eggs, usually in clutches of 3-5. The eggs hatch after two months, and the babies will slowly grow their legs and whiskers, Usually developing them fully by the age of 10. Prior to this, they are strictly aquatic. Froglites are considered adults when they are around 19 years old. Froglites have a life span of about 70 years, but older individuals have been reported.

Froglites are a very social species, and they fall in love pretty easily. Froglites typically have at least two romantic partners, and groups of up to ten have been noted to occur. Froglites love big families, and the whole group will raise any offspring. Froglites don't limit their dating pool to just members of their own species, and will happily accept other creatures into their families.

Froglites are avid explorers, but if they want to spend an extended period of time on land they need to wear special gear to keep their skin moist. They can breathe air, but dried out gills are uncomfortable.

Froglites are omnivores and will eat just about anything! They prefer fish and other small aquatic prey to plants, but will eat whatever offered.
