Description
These vampiric desert creatures are well known for being fast and dangerous. Their hunting style is to run until they find a sleeping/resting creature, latch on, drink their blood, and bolt away once the other creature starts fighting back. They have vents on their side to keep cool while they run.

They drink blood through their hollow fangs, giving them water and nutrition.

They make a whistling noise to communicate.

These guys can be dangerous to a yevat, and should be treated with caution. To tame one, a yevat must steal one as a baby.
Tamed creatures will wander around the outside of a yevat's home to hunt, and can be called when the yevat makes a whistling noise.
