Clever- Harvey is a crafty boy, who can get himself out of any bad situation. He's quite good at thinking out of the box.
Flexible- Harvey thinks fast. changes in plans don't phase him, he's one to roll with the punches.
Observant- This octopus notices everything. He's very perceptive, and can sniff a secret out a mile a way.

Cynical- everyone wants something, and Harvey is aware, maybe too much, of this fact.
Lazy- Harvey can be a bit sloppy about getting things done. he's prone to saying "good enough", and leaving a project cooked on the outside, but not on the inside.
Obsessive- on the other hand, Harvey gets into things, and he gets deep into them.

- History:
Harvey was born in the ocean, with many siblings. His parents taught them how to catch food, and sink large ships. Harvey didn't get a chance to get very good at sinking ships before, after the death of a sibling who was attempting to sink a ship, his family decided to move themselves to the sanctuary.
Moving to a civilized area was a big change. You couldn't sink ships, and sometimes that tasty fish you were after could talk. You also had to go to school. Harvey wasn't a fan of school, but he managed, going to one set up by some mermaids for fellow aquatic creatures. Eventually, it also meant he had to get a job. sure, he could have just lived in Eerie Lake, and he did just live there for a while, but there were things he wanted that cost money. like boots. Having 8 arms, Harvey was well suited for multitasking. He's held many office and secretary positions over the years, despite being a bit big.

Harvey just wants to be comfortable in his life. He wants nice things, a comfortable home, and a dog that can breathe underwater. He's been looking into one of those for the past decade. He also wants to be included. He's used spells before to give himself a human shape, so he can visit with land dwelling monsters,but he also would like friends who will take what they're doing down to him. He'd like someone to go the extra mile for him, for a change. Overall, he's happy with his position in life. He does get the urge to sink a passing ship every now and then, but he holds himself together. Sometimes he misses the ocean...
