Description
These winged snakes are sneaky princes of the treetops. They are aerial predators that swoop down and snatch prey from the ground. They have very strong venom, enough to kill a yevat, and enough to make larger creatures very sick. They take their prey and hide it in the trees, where they eat the prey whole and rest for several days to digest. They have few predators themselves, including Varveleil.

The winged snakes have the ability to mimic yevat speech, but don't really understand what they're saying. They can pick up phrases, like parrots, and sometimes understand those.

These winged snakes seem to have a soft spot for deyevats, the yevat language reminding them of their own hatchling's cries. They've been known to take in lost deyevats.

They're hard to tame, but typically don't hunt Yevatem because even in adulthood they remind them of hatchlings. Sometimes they'll pick you as their friend, and then it's more like the yevat is their pet than the other way around.
