Illustration for an article by Gustavo about fairytales. I love his articles about fairytales. This one is about Grimm's Cinderella where there's not fairy Godmother, but a tree and a bird.It's a pretty crude version, where the stepsisters mutilate their feet in order to force their feet into the tiny shoe.

I know about the step-sisters mutilating their feet (desperation is a very raw, ugly thing), but I didn't know about the bird and tree. Interesting.
