The title says it all. In case you don't get it, Nintendo has changed the name to the upcoming Revolution console to "Wii." (Pronounced like "Wee.") I just couldn't resist drawing this. (I admit, I kinda stole this gag from the "Pet Rock" gag in Familly Guy.)
And no, I am NOT anti-Revolution/Wii, or anything. So don't start complaining if you can't take a joke.

No I agree Wii is a lame name which just might affect the outcome of Nintendo's sucess. But aside from all that, this pic is funny because its so obscure... but then again considering who drew it I'm not suprised. ^^

I think the name is Sweeeet! It's simple and entertaining..but this is probably how they thought of it.....

Considering loads of people bought a console with a name like "Xbox" which basically means "[insert name here]Box", a name that reminds people of the slang term for urine wouldn't be all that bad. Also note that this only applies to english-speaking countries.
Also note that I have nothing against the Xbox, it has its fair share of good games, I just think its name is just as stupid as the Wii's.

Yeah thats true... an I'm sure we can rag on Sony for its unoriginality as well (PS3? C'mon now). So when you think about it, I guess the next gen of consoles isn't worried about whats in a name.

Well, alot of people didn't like the controller either when it was first shown. (Even I admit, I'm guilty of that.) We'll all probilly get used to the name to eventually.

wii has two controller one is like a tv controller and the other is like a super nintendo controller but white and has wii on it

I also think they're ganna have a gun one that connects to the remote piece. (That's certainlly going to make overprotective parents, and anti-gun people freak out again about video game violence again.)
