Quit weirding her out.I was originally going to make her smile all cutesy-like, but I noticed I had very few serious/meloncoly expressions in my gallery, I figured this expression would look better.

Awesome picture, loved this show since i was 12 when it first aired and i always had a crush on this babe for she is my all time fave furry besides Callie Briggs, Cheetara, Minerva Mink and Cleo with others.
Been a Sonic fan since i was 11 when i got the first issue of Sonic the comic and collected them since and even got my Genesis with Sonic 1 & 2 for christmas as well.

Actually, she was used in the 1993 Sega Genesis game "Sonic Spinball."
Sally, as well as Rotor, Muttski, & Bunnie (as well as Tails, a Flicky bird, and a generic monkey) cameo'd as "trapped animals" in 2 of the bonus games.
They fly out when you bust open the animal prison pods, freeing them.

This picture actually reminds me of a fanfic I wrote about two years ago, featuring Sally sitting on a tree stump not unlike this. The facial expression was quite different, however -- it was one of pain and worry, not unamused-ness. I'm not going to go into details about that, since I have largely disowned that fanfic now, but the fact remains that that's what this picture reminds me of.
I'm not sure what method you use to digitize your pictures: whether you draw by hand and then scan as is, or whether you do any post-processing. But I have a suggestion for your next picture, and that is to trace all your lines with a vector-image program like Flash or Illustrator.

Most of my stuff is hand-drawn on paper and then scanned. (I'm not very good at drawing with a mouse, or digiatlly.)
I admit, my outlines arn't the smoothest in the world,
Unfortunatelly, I don't have any major programs like Flash, or Adobe Photodeluxe (nor do I know how to use them properlly) so I don't really get much of a chance to properlly fix my images. (All I have mostlly is MS Paint, and Adobe Photodeluxe 2.0, and ancient imaging program that came with my first scanner.)

Adobe PhotoDeluxe? I used to use that to color pictures before I got my hands on Photoshop. But there are a few free programs out there with capabilities like Photoshop, like the GIMP (www.gimp.org) or especially Artweaver (www.artweaver.de) whose interface is a spitting image of Photoshop's.

I always liked both Sally & Amy personally, I never did understand why fans of either character feel they have to hate on the other one all the time, just 'cause they prefer one of them.
(Not accusing you of such, I've just seen alot of people like that around DA.)

yeah i know. its a little crazy how they either hate one o the other. it gets really anoying when people get all "OMG I HATE SALLY I HOPE SHE DIES OMG, AMY'S DA BEST!!" or the other way around.
