My heart cracks whenever I hear reports on babies being abandoned in the streets like Dinky. Some are lucky to be saved, while others aren't.Β

I'm very clumsy and careless. I can't see myself carrying a biological child in my womb and doing all of that stuff. I respect people who love biological children, but I feel like that I'd be better as adoptive mother. Children like Dinky in this comic deserve a second chance.Β

This is adorable, and emotional in all the right places. I always thought Dinky was adopted by Derpy, but as a baby filly in a warm, comfy basket and gently left at Derpy's doorstep. This is quite dramatic, but still very good.

The sad thing is that people like that exists in the world, there have been reported cases all over the world of babies being thrown into dumpsters, or being left in garbage bags, or something else. It's really terrible and depressing to think about it, but not thinking about it makes me feel like a bad person that neglects to think about things like that... or the kids being forced to slave labor in South East Asia, or kids being forced to kill people in civil wars in Africa... now I'm even more depressed.
