Hun is short for honey but is sometimes spelt hunny. It's the same as calling someone sweetie.

Sure - good quality products make a big diff, I use Kryolan aqua colours, which are water based body paints. Apply with a sponge for large areas to minimise streaking and use good quality paint brushes too!
