It is water-based, you're right! I used Kryolan Aqua Colours for this design. I love Kryolan products, the texture is so creamy and the pigments are so vibrant!

I haven't had the opportunity to work with Kryolan yet; Snazaroo and MagiCake are my mainstays. I've heard nothing but good about them, though.

Kyrolan is slightly more expensive but a better product for it! Their blacklight neon range looks awesome, I'm going to try them next. Ben Nye theatre products are wonderful too, I recommend them as well!

My skin absolutely loathes greasepaint, so these days I'm a strictly water-based gal. Perhaps I will give Kryolan a try. . . blacklight neons sound mighty tempting!

Same here, I break out plus greasepaint is such a bastard to wash off so I steer clear of it!
Oh yeah, they're mighty tempting alright. I've seen some fantastic blacklight body art posted here on dA, got heaps of it in my faves, trawl through some time!

o_O This is gorgeous! I know you have such polished works in your main gallery- but I think that people who don't watch your scraps are missing out. I especially like the left image in the middle column. Gorgeous gradient.

Oh thanks so much, so glad you like it! I suck at self portraits big time, and my camera is a crappy Sony Cyber-Shot which doesn't help...my web-cam takes better pics sometimes, like these ones - lol. So yeah, I'm too embarassed to put such bad quality pics in my main gallery!
