**MAJOR SPOILERS FOR DOCTOR WHO SERIES 4 FINALE*******************Journey's End!!!!!****************
Okay so I've been working on this tribute piece, depicting the original Time Lord 10th Doctor alone on the Tardis in the original universe vs. Rose Tyler & the Human Doctor together in the Parallel Universe, ever since I watched the Doctor Who Series 4 Finale: Journey's End online almost four weeks ago (which I absolutely loved by the way!). I'm still far from finished with the lineart but today I was looking at it and felt it was good enough to post it since I've been working so hard on it for what feels like forever and will be taking a much needed break from it to regroup. Now I love David Tennant just as much as the next fan girl but let me just say....THE MAN HAS SUCH A FREAKING HARD FACE TO DRAW!!!! I cried actual tears over this one due to the frustration of having to draw not one but two of his faces and ending up doing it eight times each before getting anything close to his likeness because I was absolute rubbish at doing it (talk about biting off more than I can chew!). And though I'm still not very pleased with what I've got it will have to do because I just can't make one more attempt at it right now without wanting to pull all my hair out (Oh and don't even get me started on the Original Doctors annoying pinstripes!!!! Aaaargh what a nightmare that was too!!!!).
*Takes a long deep breath* So anyways, now that I got that all out of my system my premise for this was to show the mirror image of these two versions of the Doctor living completely different lives: (A) the Human Doctor with his one life he gets to spend with Rose (making out all the time Ha ha *wink*) and (B) the Original Time Lord alone with nothing but his ship and his tool (his sonic screwdriver). Hopefully someone likes this drabble so that all my hours of slaving and frustration won't be in vain. As always please leave comments I really need honest opinions and any suggestions/ feedback anyone cares to make on this to will me on to finishing it. Thanks again.

This is excellent!
It's a bit hard to see, so if you messed around with contrast and lighting, it would do you a world of good.
(If you don't really have the right program to do so, I'd be more than happy to do it for you and email you the result.)
Aside from that though, this is a really good piece, and I adore how you drew them.

Oh this is wonderful. Absolutely wonderful. I love the idea and you've captured both Billie and David perfectly. Particularly like the little sketch of them looking at each other in profile. Absolute perfection all over.

Wow, this is totally amazing! I love this!
But David Tennant is relatively easy to draw. He has very distinguishable features, like the bump at the bridge of his nose, his floofy hair, his lips are a certain shape, his sideburns, his ears, his eyebrows... That makes me sound really sad... I'll shut up now.

IIIEEEKK! I love it! I have not attempted to draw the doctor before now, but I have been inspired! oh, and judging by your tag line, you like Star Wars? I'm a freaking big fan, especially of Mara Jade! Oh, and good job on the line art. I love the side representations of his head. they are so spot on!

Don't be hard on yourself, I think all the drawings of The doctor on this pafe look like him, and you did a wonderful job on the pinstripes. (They really are a pain to draw, I still can't get them right.)

Thank you ever so for your kind words of encouragement on this. I can't tell you how much I appreciate them right now! Working on this has felt like it's going to be the death of me so having you and so many others telling me that it looks like him after all and to keep up the good work is just what the doctor ordered for this poor fan girl. I think it's about time I got back to the 'drawing board' and finished this. So in the words of 10: Allons-y! Molto bene!
Thanks again.

you did a great job on his face -- it totally looks like him. I had no question in my mind.
Beautiful work. Are you going to color it eventually?

Nobody draws making out like you do! It's criminal.
This one definitely needs finishing. The mirror Doctors are superb.
What I love most about your work is the overall impression your montages create. This idea of paralleling the two versions of the Doctor is inspired.
Please, please stick with this. Don't let those pinstripes be in vain!

"Nobody draws making out like you do! It's criminal."
Ha Ha yeah
I am the first to admit I have a real problem with being shall we say 'overly romantically driven' in all my art pieces. I'm such a pathetic shipper-such a woman! Oi! But I just can't seem to stop myself. I'm just glad no one has condemned me for it yet. Romance stories and the inevitable degrees of angst surrounding them is just something I can't resist, I just eat it all up no matter what universe its set in. Luke/Mara, Mal/Inara, the Doctor/Rose it never ends! *sighs*
Oh and this finale did not help! I don't know about you but...OMG I was so torn, so elated one minute with them being reunited and then that kiss *drools* and yet so heartbroken for the original 10. Oh and poor Donna! Such a roller coaster ride from one heightened peak of emotion to the next. I loved every minute of it! That episode was truly brilliant!
So naturally I had to do something to pay tribute and this is inevitably what was born. So thank you as always for your interest and loving feedback my friend. I've always appreciate it and this time I truly NEEDED it! Oh the frustration surrounding this one with Davids face!! I'm still trying to calm down from it enough to get back to the literal 'drawing board'. But I won't let that make me give up, I will keep going with this if it's the last thing I do. I won't let those pinstripes go in vain!!
Thanks again Richard.
