Bad bee posts another sketchdump instead of responding to comments first. (｡･｀ω´･｡);;;Lots of miscellaneous funstuffs, cute garbage, gpoy (as always), fanart, and miscellaneous magical girl ocs. OOOH!!! I need to finish coloring lilypad...

have i mentioned lately i love W.I.T.C.H.? i had the first scholastic (fancy rare probs??? first edition?? 2002ish? I was 12-13 at the time) volume and carried around with me and tried to emulate the style next to my tmm manga. I need to reread it, so I'm going to ask for the comics for christmas, then read the scans of the rest online (so I can see first hand this horrible decline in plot everyone talks about sobs.) Maybe I should do some real-deal witch fanart sometime.
Also the lagoona drawing was included in a package for someone who bought 40$ worth of monster high /other doll merchandise i'm selling. if... you know... maybe... you want some too.... i'm trying to get a garage sale post up with other stuff in it haha but everything takes me 3 more years than other people so. yeah.
shameless plug aside!!! everything else is random stuff and things. also, nafisah is cutest fucking cinnamon roll on this earth so i tried to capture it. doubt it really conveys her charms but i can try.

geo is questioning nb/trans but not sure yet!! they have a lot of dysphoria with no real outlet or support network but the team start to call them prince instead after a few previous transformations as "princess" makes them uncomfortable! geo's one of my younger questioning ocs so they haven't decided what pronouns they like yet (ie she/her is what they're used to but they don't really like it, but he/him scares them too due to the foreign feeling and fear of being outed/caught) so they/them is typically what i use for now!
i really need to buckle down and design their outfits tbh

W.I.T.C.H., oh my goooooosh. I was incredibly obsessed with that comic for the longest of time! *v* I remember, when I was in middle school, almost every weekend I'd go to the bookstore and I'd try to snag a new edition every chance I got. : | I still have them but they're in the next state over. I miss them sooooooo much. (I love Will but, admittingly, I was more biased over Cornelia and Hay Lin :////| ) And Elyon! I always wanted my hair to be like hers. I ADORE Nanami's outfit design too. I love her cloak the most. I like that you can tell it's obviously focused on the moon and stars without using a dark blue color... if that makes sense. :c

Aah, W.I.T.C.H.! I will never forget them. An European comics with manga influences was a great idea. Thanks to them I got into Avatar: the last airbender kinda. Because I was looking for more stories where the heroes have elemental based powers and since Aang reminded me of Oracle of Kondrakar it was a love at first episode.
Must say I prefer the comics over the cartoon, I'm sorry they didn't do the Phobos takes over Kondrakar arc though.

I wish I could've had more access to WITCH comics back then, the Scholastic program mysteriously never had any other volumes in it (and boy did I look...) I definitely agree the anime/western comic fusion aspect probably got me into ATLA too!
I definitely agree about the cartoon too, the jetix witch series? I barely watched it, I couldn't handle how unattractive the animation and acting was compared to the comic!

So much wasted potential with the cartoon. I've never realized when I was fully into Witches how good it actually was. It had POCs, the girls had powers but also realistic flaws and it discussed ethical problems without damaging the story telling aspect. (Though I think that they abandoned some plots that deserved to be explored more.)
And one of the bonus books hinted at Irma being a bit overweight. Well, it was mentioned that she gained some weight which she later lost again but it wasn't a plot point. Like in some annoying life-changing stories where the main Char just doesn't get a better life unless he/she/them sheds some pounds. It was actually more of a worldbuilding element as it showed that the fighting and elemental powers burn calories.
Anyway you get different body types. Sorta, as it isn't much visible in the comic itself where Irma looks as fit as anyone. Except for Cornelia and Hailey who are really thin.
