Older drawings of rilu necromanced for this can be seen in ATLA Double OC Meme and A:CtS - Line Em Up , respectively. I can't bring myself to make them thumbnails they're... so old. 9w6;;You get to see a little bit of backlog of rilu's development. Her size and stature fluctuated a bit (most of my ocs have this phase I think when it comes to bodytype). Quite prouda the toned sketch and yraixhwan drawing ugh. Eats them. Even though the dump's 7k px long, it feels a bit empty! Hmmm. Mostly backlog I guess!
Anyway, enjoy! I don't draw my solaris babies nearly enough so maybe hopefully this will promote a second dump of new stuff. Maybe. ó_ó

Yea, I'm finally in the groove of working two jobs, and DA made it easier to group submissions by artist into stacks, so now I'mma blazing through my backlog... 7,766 left to go... started out with 19 grand at the beginning of this week.

Rilu's development Is so amazing for me to see because I remember first finding you and Ty's blogs when I was super into atla and I loved Kye and Rilu from the start! Watching them change and grow with you is so exciting! Rilu is also very special to me because she is part Hawaiian like me, so that makes me happy!

Rilu is a darling. a big, bulky DARLING. I love her tattoos and her hair and her belly and everything about her???
Also Tekka has gret freckles and fuzzy hair and I want to learn more about them (I'm assuming they use she pronouns because "sister" but like... I am a "brother" but use they pronouns so MAYBE NOT).

Ugh honestly Rilu's one of my favorite design progressions, she's just so... so iconic and memorable and true to her personality now.

Not sure if it was intended, but Yrai really puts me in mind of an eagle here. It's probably her features in her profile, but I do like the protective mama bird idea if it was what you were going for.

I get huge nostalgia pangs for ATLA world, sometimes I tease the idea of drawing current rilu in her old ATLA outfit, hehe... Maybe sometime if the whim consumes me.
You'll be happy to know though!! The plot for the ATLA version of the story is 95% the same as the Solaris plot. We just realized the huge story needed it's own universe, and tweaked small things like the bending in favor of grungy scifi weaponry. It's honestly pretty impressive how well the story swapped over 8//)
ALSO GOSH THANK YOU SO MUCH THAT MEANS SO MUCH TO ME I definitely think my style's shaping up. It feels more confident, my gestures and linework. Horribly liberating, let me tell you! +__+

Its so exciting to see how far Rilu has come! I remember the first drawings of her that you did. Suffice it to say, I love both versions.
And man, Dae-sun is breaking my heart. I'm all heart-eyes over here looking at him. He's probably super stoic and can take down people in mere seconds, but also loves to garden and cook. Gah, take this precious baby's away from me. -climbs Dae-sun like a tree-

Oh my goodness, Dae's more popular than I expected him to be! I can't deny he's definitely probably a tough adversary... you caught me though, I think he's pretty tame and mild otherwise, just kind of to himself but respectful of his peers. I'll have to draw him again soon and figure out his details~
