I agree with you on this particular piece. Sorry if I'm about to repeat something I may have said earlier, but given the high levels of pattern complexity that these fractal programs can go to, many tend to forget that simple/minimal is often times the best. Abstract art tends to work on, and affect the viewer, on a symbolic/archetypal level - and most symbols/archetypes are very simple by their nature. Complexity has that fleeting 'wow' factor, while simple has staying power!

Well said! I'll be the first to admit though I like the more complex designs and I find I have to restrain myself from adding more and more to a piece.
