Here is Ben's (me as my main oc) reaction of a another trailer of PKMN: I choose You!: www.youtube.com/watch?v=5NHzI6…Well why am I not surprised?! I hadn't heard of the news or rumors of it until I look into one of my friend's DA journal about this trailer.
I'm so very disappointed. This retelling idea their doing is retarded.
Right now 7/19/22: I don't do any hatred of it anymore because the damage is done.

TTG was... something else. I WANTED to say a sequel, but it practically ignores the fact that the original exists except when the creators want to be giant manchildren and take shots at the series they lack the mental capacity to either understand or write. Calling it a retelling is insulting the original material worse than the writers already have.
PPG 2016 is a sequel, I guess? Either way, it's fucking atrocious.

Oh, I'm not. I'm just sick of the direction modern Pokemon has taken. But then again, I have been for a while. I fucking HATED XY/Z, Unova was trash, Sinnoh was the ABSOLUTE WORST point of the anime... yeah.

Where do I begin? I guess I'll start with Dawn, AKA the Unholy Amalgamation who reminds me of two now-long-gone, much better characters that I wish were there instead. God, Dawn sucked.
Second, and I'll be frank, even in the games I found Sinnoh an EXTREMELY boring region. There was nothing interesting whatsoever there to me. Even the gym leaders, Candice aside, were extremely forgettable.
Third, and I'll let this be the last point for now... that fucking last battle with Tobias was weak as FUCK. People complaining about Alain's victory over Ash in XYZ can fuck off and die. Tobias was a more infuriating victory because he curb-stomped Ash with just two Pokemon, both legendary. I'd be surprised if he had a single non-legendary on his team. Perhaps the most infuriating thing about this godmoding jackass Gary Stu though is that he's voiced by J Michael Tatum, the voice of Isaac Dian from Baccano.

To be perfectly honest, I liked Dawn. She was one of the few parts of DP that I can safely say that I enjoyed. No, the one I loathe with the searing passion of a thousands suns is that vile, repulsive, hypocritical, abusive piece of shit that is Paul. SO MUCH HATE.
I liked Sinnoh, but it's not my favorite region.
Yeah, Alain at least had been well estabilished as an exceptional trainer who could hold his own against an Elite Four level trainer, so I can accept Ash losing to him. Tobias was just a plot device who just happened to be able to walk and talk, and he was nothing but a "FUCK YOU" to the fans who thought Ash could finally, at long last, win a League.

Dawn pissed me off because of the reason I'd already stated. And yeah, Paul was an insufferable prick. Come to think of it... I don't think I liked anything about Sinnoh. At least Kalos had Alain and Mairin, if literally nothing else. Seriously, fuck Kalos.
