I love your portrayal of how, in a dystopian future, children still bother to go to school. Something so simple is yet inexplicable, and just goes to show that there are these wonderful nuances in humanity that will always be there. And what is it about school that makes it seem like the appropriate setting for children, anyway? Is it safe? Comfortable? Reassuring of a better future for our posterity?
Yeah, that's how much this piece inspired me

Beautiful work, you should be an illustrator for Heavy Metal or something, if you don't already have a career doing this kind of stuff. Did you just watch 'Cidade de Dios' or the second 'Incredible Hulk' movie before drawing this? I can almost imagine some dreamy soft 'Gorge Behm' style guitar playing off in the distance if this was animated, like it's a peaceful day in the favelas, instead of crazy and violent.

I see, thanks for the reply. You also answered what I wondered about if you came from Brazil. 'Favelas' isn't a commonly known word I think, I only knew it from having Brazilian room mates, and then took notice in the movies I mentioned before.
