This is dreadfully, fabulously unsettling. Every detail, from the wine bottle on the floor to the faucet, is delightfully surreal and tantalizingly confusing, like Homestuck or Hieronymus Bosch. The image seems to tell a story, but it's not clear what it is.
I don't see any really obvious mistakes, and it seems to me that tipsiness actually made this a little better--it really comes across as spontaneous, drunken musings. I don't know if this really was unplanned, but it has that natural flow. However, the composition is not as strong as some things I've seen. I think this would have been most effective with Ms. Bathtubscissors as the focal point, but the first thing you look at is Wall Cyberman and his flacid spigot penis. That takes away a little from the impact in the long run. Composition-wise, this is still pretty good, but I do think it could be better.
You're excellent, you definitely have your own style, your ideas are gold, and I can't wait to see what you come up with next!

In first, this image leaves impression of great disturbence. But after a closer look you can see how much emotions are in there.
The girl figure looks so lonley in her attempt to(as I see it) make a friend to her self because there is none in her life.
Scatered pieces of stuffed animals could represent cripled remainings of her former self, and the boiler-man figure that dominates this dismal bathroom reminds of 'that something' she is never going to have but will cost her every thing she ever had.
Empty bottle on the floor is a very cruel detail in whole picture, wich makes it stronger.
Any way, when artist awake this kind of emotions in a person that means that he has done a great job. This image leaves great deal of space for imagination and that is why I like it.

I see this as a tragic example of someone desperately in need of love. But, she's become so desperate, who would want to! Without a doubt, your work is excellent!

Beers or not, this is a great piece. It looks like something with a story to tell. I'd be interested in hearing more about your choice of the title, and what was going through your head (I mean aside from the booze) when you came up with it. It's really nice to see such refreshing creativity.

I don't know the artist, but I think I get the title... If you look at the young woman in the pic, she's holding what looks like a small clown-doll and is cutting it open with an even smaller pair of scissors. I'm not fully sure if that's where the title came from, but it makes some sense. I do agree with you though, that this is a great piece!

it reminds me some Bilal's work..
Although rich of elements it helps go in depth with the entire meaning of the piece rather than distracting.
Good job

I love your recurring items and people in your pieces. In this I see the shoes (and the girl?) from Yellow Shoes, the girl in the same dress and a clearly similar mechanical man from The Exchange of Flowers. Mostly this just makes me feel sad. I feel as if this girl, beautiful and innocent, wants and sees nothing but beauty in the simple things but has been surrounded by a life of cold and dark. I would love to know how the related works are meant to tie into one another.
There are very few mechanical things wrong, and those have been pointed out already. Your textures are beautiful and I love that this is both detailed and simple. I realize this post is from quite some time ago but I felt as if I needed to share with you just how much I enjoyed this piece, which is a tremendous amount. Thank you for sharing.

I like the outline style! The outlines (and also the pastel colors) kinda reminds me of Carl Larsson's paintings, and also of the game Borderlands. Very refreshing.
