This is me every dadburned school day afraid I'm going to miss my daughter's bus! I start worrying about it around lunch time so it really feels like this by the time I am waiting for the bus. (Generalized anxiety disorder is a pain like that).

Ah, the waiting game - how you plague me... I like the look of the stretched neck - tense and reaching even further. Oh, and the tightly clenched fingers are a nice touch too!

I used to have dreams like this.... Where something would just be waiting in an empty space but I could feel this strange emotion stirring... It scared me but fascinated me at the same time. It used to make me cry and laugh... I never really knew what I was looking for or what I was looking at for that matter... But nonetheless... It felt like home... Like I belonged there..

I know it's 4 years late, but I have dreams like that sometimes too. I wonder if they ever go away?

Hey, this is cool! All the wrinkles and veins, my first thought was that they've been waiting a long time. I wonder if their neck stretched over all the time they've been sticking their head out the window to check if what they're waiting for is here yet? There's so much room in all the empty space to the sides for minds to wander and make a story for this person. It almost seems like this is illustrating something, like a poem or story should accompany it.

U are right about the neck. As for the story.. it's actually illustrating a personal condition/story...
