Exquisite detail that can stand up to close examination! The scales are just awesome and I am grumpy about scales most of the time- yours are not only drawn in detail from the mouth to the tail, but wonderfully shaded and textured, catching the light and looking like I can feel the shape of them. The construction is a good compromise between a Western Dragon and an Eastern Loong. Another time, you might put the clouds also beneath her, not just in the distance, unless you wanted the perspective to be somehow "symbolic"?

The perspective here is just awesome! The world looks tiny underneath the dragon, and that creates excellent scale both in how high up and how large he is. I love how the colors contrast with a bright yellow ground against his dark purple scales, it helps the dragon pop and look imposing and regal. Your dragons always are impressive, but the combination of color and perspective make this one look powerful.
