A strange clearing appeared in the middle of the forest as a ghostly vision: Golden flowers, one by one, opened everywhere, raising shining heads from the grass, their petals trembling in the imperceptible wind.
"This is your grave," came the words, and Laurefinde wanted to swear at Tilion again, but he didn't, knowing that this time it wasn't the Maya - the burning Arien was now ruling the sky.
"Look at the things you are not meant to see."
A child ran along the edge of the clearing, and the Golden-haired warrior was horrified to recognize the boy as himself.
"It's a spell!" – elf tried to banish the vision while being confused in his thoughts and feelings.
A boy with curly Golden hair plucked a flower and looked away with bright blue eyes.
"You mustn’t pick them up!” a melodious female voice shouted, and Glorfindel did not recognize it. But why? If the child is himself, it means that someone of his relatives or friends should be nearby.
“Mom, I haven’t picked anything up!”
