hehe i love the bright heart! It was just super hard to get it to be bright enough with all the ice layers on overlay/soft light/multiply it made all the colours go weird haha
i knoow!! i can't think of something that suits her and i don't know what her personality/backstory will be yet -_-

Oooh. It was easier for me, I used a textured brush (well several) instead of actual textures. (Low opacity and flow; white-grey colours) My layering was blue base - red veins+heart - ice texture. That way I didn't have to worry about all the layer modes :'3

Hmmmm, I don't know how much help I can be hahaaha, I just have this idea she grew up all lonely in the Arctic and then went looking for others after :'3

You could try to combine the two perhaps? As in textures first, with some veins underneath. Then veins on top of textures and a texture brush where it needs to be brighter? Just throwing around ideas hahahaha :'3

You could call her Allein; which is German for alone, by itself, lonely, unaccompanied, lonesome, by oneself

do you think she could be a lone soul kind of type, but longing for company? she could maybe have a small animal companion - like the only thing she could find for company in the arctic?
most of my characters are happy, so it would be interesting to manip a more secluded character..
