Description
This time I tried cutting out the stencil in a thin paper millboard sheet in an attempt to extend it's usable life. It did last longer and I think it can still be used but the results when painting with it weren't good enough. I have no idea what the exact problem was but the paint kept spraying under it every time I gave it a try. Perhaps it was the fact that because it was so rigid, it left a gap between it and the wall on some uneven areas.
So my recommendation for anyone who's interested in making stencils is to stick with paper; accept the fact that stencils can be used only a certain number of times.
Or you could simply use acetates.
