So, I have been re-reading the Redwall series...again. I have always wanted to draw the characters, and this is my warm-up to drawing them. I wanted to see what the real life comparison of the different species would be.

I tried to make this as accurate as possible. I did a lot of research and used a ton of reference photos. Basically, to get my sizes correct, I went by length of the creatures.

I am going to use this as a reference when I start actually drawing the characters from Redwall, though I will probably fudge a little. There is just too much of a difference between badgers and mice! These are just the good creatures that are mentioned the most in the series. I hope it is clear the different species. I thought about lining them up vertically instead of in front of each other, but I didn't think it was a good enough comparison of the sizes. Coming up next, the Vermin!
