...Tried a different art style this time around. Think it turned out pretty freaking awesome ! ^^

The exposed ribcage does seem a little more chaos-y, I think, but it's a nice drawing. That's quite a lot of shading work (way more than I've ever done), and you can sorta see the impression of the ribs through the robe, which is neat.
Here I'm not as sure if the techpriest is looking at their hand, as in the first drawing, or if they're holding it up that way for some other reason. I think that has more to do with the angle, though.
On the one hand I get the impression it might be another view of the same scene, but on the other hand I get the impression it might be a bit later, possibly after further modifications (and with the ribcage thing, perhaps some corruption as well).
It's less of a focused face(-less ^^) response than the first one, but being more of a full upper body view, it has a lot more details, like that backpack thing explorators have (I never figured out which that was supposed to be; part of the electoo thingy? Is the coil inside there? Is it an actual supply pack? A whole bunch of stuff?) and the arm/shoulder details.
Nice picture on the whole, I like it : )

I see what you mean. Perhaps he's being slowly tainted by chaos? Just like many techpriests were during the Horus Heresy. Does give me an idea for another drawing though, perhaps there will be a third picture along the way!
Although it's apparant that he's focusing on his hand in the first one, I tried to make it more focused in this one on the hand.
It was going to be a remake of the first, but I did swap alot out of things, got rid of the left arm and turned it human again (or it could still be robotic, just underneath a robe), since the older one was basically a bunch of shaps I stuck together and coloured in quickly. The hand itself was changed, could be counted as an upgrade since its more humanoid of a hand. So yeah it could be a bit later on from the first.
Though I felt as if it was more face focused than the last, as the "eyes" were brighter in the new one, they just looked more alive to me.
As for the backpack, I'm not sure, I was just going for something cosmetic as it just would of been missing something otherwise. Darn thing could be a portaloo for all we know.

Ah, regarding the face-focused thing I meant the way the first is framed as a facial reaction to a particular foreground item (the hand), whereas this one is more of a 3/4 profile view, so it's subtler that he's looking at his hand. Different effects, but they both have advantages.
Hmm, the portaloo thing reminds me of my idea about my own techpriest character having a digestion unit built into her lower torso, which she needs to connect to tubes in order to 'eat' (usually nutri-slurry or corpse starch) and extract waste.
I mean, they've all got those breathmasks, which according to some sources (I think the description of Explorator implants in the core Rogue Trader book mention it) are bolted into the jaw... and imagining a techpriest using an old-fashioned sit or squat toilet is kinda ridiculous...
A third one would be fun to see! ^^

I have to say, this is pretty impressive but there are a few things that are a bit off for me
The first thing is the open robe. Mind you I like the effect, showing his metalic rib cage with cords. A 'traditional' tech priest would not do that, becuase showing a mere human that would be very bad for their mind.
On the other hand it also reminds me of a heretek who is not with chaos but not with the imperium or mars. He has that confident stance that shows arrogance.

I took a little inspiration from the Fabricator General of Mars (chaos aligned), who also has an open robe where you can see a ribcage. I liked the effect so I tried to replicate it here.
I'm not sure if he's Chaos or Loyalist, people can interpret for themselves.
I tried to go with proudness as what he was experiencing, the arm he's holding up being the new addition to his body.
