Sorry? I saw a cropped version of that picture on google images, so I can't really give credit for an original if I don't even know who painted it.
I liked the colours and I tried to replicate it to help improve my colouring skill.

You see dear ole chap, I must interject but google at no time displays only an image without the anchor to the original site.
You've done right by crediting the original poster, and to remember it in the future will do you good.
To rip off someones work ( you can by all means use the photograph), but to be sure you will not get in trouble with the law, you must change the angle of view on the piece. So per say if you drew this carniflex at the same angle (or just retraced over it) would violate the code of copyright here on dA.
And some people are indeed touchy about the copyright.
So remember dude, change the angle, and you are good to go.
I do this when I'm in need of practice. Always use references, but not trace them, reference them.
And keep on drawing.

I'm aware of the link with the picture in google, but at the time I wasn't fussed and didn't focus on the link, I was just looking for something to draw and colour.
Well now I know, I will remember it in the future, but would that mean I would have to remove this picture from dA? 
I guess I was just unaware of this whole legal issue about tracing. I'm not exactly hot on getting on the wrong side of the law.

No you don't need to remove it from dA.
Olovni holds the rights to it.
And he will not report you. None apart from him can. And now that you credited him, it holds in your favour.
I was unaware as well, until i became the admin of the EoT.
