Fishhook has grown very fast in a short period of time, both mentally and physically. After an accident left their older sister with a crippling injury, Fishhook took it upon themselves to ensure that no harm would ever come to their tiny sister again. Fishhook grew up to be physically powerful and dangerous. On land, they can appear quite slow and often are seen 'sleeping' or lazing in the shade, though they will never be far from Twine's side. Only capable of short bursts of speed on land, in the water they are an even more powerful presence.

When traveling or in strange places, Fishhook is rarely very far from Twine's side. At home, however, Fishhook is more likely to be less on edge and lounge around the bay or even go exploring around the bay area and into the ocean. They enjoy spending long amounts of time beneath the waves, but will always return to the shore and to their family.

- A stranger on the shore attempted to attack Twine, but Fishhook promptly stepped in to prevent any serious damage
- Fishhook is wary to bid Blackbird farewell before she begins her adventure , but knows that this goodbye won't be forever. They have a few words for their daughter before she leaves.

- Fishhook's "ghostly aura" takes the form of a golden-coloured catshark, which Fishhook affectionately refers to as 'Nixe'. The aura will come and go seemingly as it pleases, and may appear above or below water. It never strays far from Fishhook.
- The scar in Fishhook's ear is assumed to come from a run-in with a lobster when they were small; the one on their fin after it caught on a sharp stone when they were still learning to properly swim.
- Fishhook's bones are hard and dense, providing them some defense against attacks as well as providing support from the depths if they swim deeper in the ocean.
- The hook tangled around their tail has been blunted to prevent it from sticking in their flesh. Fishhook became tangled in a bit of thread with the hook at the end and never removed it, appreciating the irony.
- The extra eyelid is often closed when Fishhook is underwater, which blurs their vision somewhat but protects their eye from the salty water.
- Fishhook is rarely seen without the earring given to them by the Canyon City loon, Boreas. However, they will usually only wear their pack bracelet when traveling or during important events.
- Plumerias are there favourite flower
