Best Alkaiser illustration I've seen. While it's not the sharpest and most detailed, despite the obvious sentai/kamen rider parodying going on, he's a character of action, not poses, and this image clearly illustrates that he's poised to leap into a running attack.
I loved how you could only "morph" into Alkaiser when characters were either dead or blind. It was possibly the best implemented system in the game.

yay! Saga frontier, wasn't it? I remember my dad borrowed it from someone at work and brought it home. I was like what the crap is this?? but it turned out to be totally awesome!! Bunch of weird random stories. Still remember that game to this day.

Alkaiser's still a better hero than Cloud. He's also still a better hero than every other FF hero with the exception of Ramza.

I might use this really cool, well designed work of art as a concept image for one of my D&D 3.5 charicters, if that is alright with the you (the artist).

Alkaiser from Saga Frontier, a true classic. I learned Re-Al-Phoenix on my first play through, accidentally. It took me ten years of off-and-on playing to understand just how deep the ability learning system in that game truly is.

I know the second game was so freaking long and annoying, I mean the gimmick of your characters getting old was cool, but not to the point where they die and you get like some new freaks!

Its been a long time and I only played a little bit of it. Never did beat any rpgs since the Nintendo/ Sega genesis days. I wanna say the only games I beat were dragon warrior and the first 2 phantasy stars. Came close with Xenogears but a friend borrowed the game and never gave it back. Which is sad because I loved that game so much and the story was getting so good.
