Ji-Ae left herself open, and she paid for it dearly, as Megan landed a body shot that knocked the wind out of the Korean. She had to back out to get her bearings straight. In a rare turn of events, Ji-Ae was the one being pursued in the ring, not the other way around. Megan's greater size and reach have proven to be difficult to overcome, as the redhead was constantly pressuring her sparring partner with jabs and straights.

Ji-Ae wanted to close the distance badly, but an opportunity just wouldn't present itself. One attempt ending in her eating a straight left to her cheek. It wasn't a full power shot, they were still sparring after all, but she could feel a sting that mostly damaged her ego. Her frustration reached an all-time high. This wasn't about some friendly competition anymore. She wanted to land a clean shot so badly, that she wasn't paying full attention to what the spar was initially about.
