Both Ji-Ae and Megan were in the zone now. Trying to hit and not get hit. The only sounds breaking the silence in the gym were of gloves flying and colliding. The tempo of the match kept increasing and increasing, like a classical piece about to reach its crescendo.

But that moment was certainly unexpected, as Ji-Ae performed a jab-straight combination only to follow it up with a high kick. It wasn't intentional, by any means. She has done this exact three-hit combination thousands of times, at that point she was entranced and only snapped out of it, when the roundhouse managed to barely get blocked by Megan. At that moment, Ji's thoughts began racing. If that hit landed, it certainly could've done significant damage, and it wasn't even allowed here. This type of stunt, even if unintentional, could spark some animosity between her and Megan and with that the rest of the Valiant gym.

The big question was, how would the redhead react to this?
