Jill Silver was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland. She got introduced to martial arts at a young age, when browsing pirated VHS tapes at a local bazaar. Thinking that a tape with a crude label with the word “Pancrase” written on it with a sharpie would be a new cartoon, she brought it home.

What happened next was a parental nightmare, as Jill would be spotted “trying out some moves” on other students after class on a daily basis. When the word spread to her parents, instead of getting grounded, and getting her tapes confiscated, Jill’s father decided to strike a deal. He would pay for her martial arts training, but only if she stopped starting fights outside of the gym. The deal went through, and Jill was on the right track to become a professional fighter.

Her big dream was to go to Japan, to actually compete in Pancrase. And when she reached 18, she packed up her bags and bought a one way ticket to the Land of the Rising Sun. She didn’t get signed, because there was no women’s division at that time.

But undeterred, she carried on looking for outs, until she found her home in pro-wrestling, where her foreign background made her stand out from the start. Jill has developed a very rough style of wrestling, with heavy emphasis on catch wrestling, and utilizing open palm strikes. Very similar to what she saw on those old tapes. She was fairly successful in her first year. She was fast and aggressive, which landed her many wins.

But life has found a way to bring Jill down. Her eye got injured during a match, and she developed photophobia from it. She was never truly the same in the ring after. Constantly getting tired just from standing in the literal spotlights in the rings. She circumvented it, by adding protective goggles to her ring gear. The true reason why she wears them remains a secret to the public. Jill constantly tries to come back to the level she was on before the injury, even if it means she needs to put much more effort than before.

Both inside and outside of the ring she’s very energetic, almost exhausting to be around. She’s very sincere, though trying her best to be a constant ball of positivity, she’s prone to massive mood swings, and can be a pain to cheer up when this happens. She values her friends above all else, even her own health and will do anything to keep them around.

She’s still competing and training in pro-wrestling, travelling all over the world for new matches. Taking on allcomers. Jill is also training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in her spare time, because a certain important redhead in her life persuaded her to. She even earned a purple belt for her efforts.
