Lisa: So far, my time at Hexagon was alien, yet familiar at the same time. After my arrival, things got hectic, and everyone seemed to be on edge. It reminded me of the time where I was a pro-wrestler in Japan. Everything so disorganized, but at least the competition was decent. I heard some passing words on some hacker attacks happening. Fighters were starting to resign, and the company was scrambling to find proper replacements. I didn’t pay too much attention, because I had more important things to focus on. And that was being part of the opening match of the Hexagon Champions tournament.

Only after my fight, things seemed to cool down. Although every participant got new uniforms all of the sudden. One of the workers told me they were meant to stop „data leaks”. I don’t know how much of this is true, or what it even means, but at least they fit fairly well.

The Hexagon facilities must be a real treat for someone into technology, but for someone so out of touch, I couldn’t start looking for a gym quickly enough. Thankfully, the equipment they had was something I was familiar with. Of course it’s quality was something I could only dream about back in Valiant gym. At this time I found out who was one of the replacements for the tournament by myself.

Megan fucking McKenzie…

This was shocking to say the least, because just before that tournament we were training together. Hell, she even helped me improve my standup in this short time. And now we’re here… it’s very possible that we would face off in this tournament. I looked at her in deafening silence and she stared back. We were at this for a few minutes, before we both decided to do something productive with our time.

A good workout session was always a good way to blow off some steam. Megan’s presence only made me more comfortable with the unfamiliar facilities of Hexagon. It’s hard to tell whether we’ll face off at the event at all. The competition is strong enough that it’s difficult to predict really. I don’t even know who’ll be my next opponent. But if we do happen to square off… then this company is gonna witness the best fight of their lives.
