Description
I was watching Jimmy Neutron the other day and got to thinking how a crossover between this show and My LIfe as a Teenage Robot would be kinda fun, so out of the blue I decided to see how Jenny would look in that setting. The result is this little number I threw together in a couple of days -- Jenny as modeled and rendered in Maya! I rigged her a little too (adding a digital skeletal system which can move her joint when manipulated) , but since I'm working on finals for the next couple of weeks I didn't really have time to refine it so I could animate her; perhaps when I have some free time on my summer break. The design is based of course on Jenny, specifically her schematics I got off of the Teenage Roblog ^_^.I actually did this for a few reasons -- firstly, one of the classes I have in my final quarter at school is an Internship class, and I figured if I showed this to Nickelodeon I might be able to impress someone enough to allow me to intern there for my last few months in college; secondly, I am suffering from a major case of senioritis (aka bored out of my mind working on my finals
So here we are! Download her to your desktop if you want to see the rendered turnaround in Quicktime, just note that it's 42MB in size. And if time permits I'll throw together a little animation of her in a month
EDIT: sorry about the multiple posts, but for some reason this isn't showing up on my front page gallery...

Tried downloading it myself, works just fine. It's around 40MB so it might take a while is all.

It worked this time, it didn't work before. 40 Megs for only a few seconds is a bit annoying, but the quality definitely makes up for it. It's a very nice render. Great job.

Isn't that "nose" supposed to be the cheek(s)?

Her cartoon design has a visible pointy cheek.

Oh well, had to approximate her as best I could in the 3D animation based on the picture behind her ^_^.

Aw, thanks ^_^! Much appreciation for the compliment! And if you like Teenage Robot that much, check out , she was one of the lead character-designers for the show and is an awesome arteest

You're welcome.
Hmm, I wonder what 3D software you use for this one.

Like I mentioned in the description, she's been modeled and rendered in Maya, specifically in NURBS which were then converted into polygons.

Oh sorry, must have never read it. Just saw the image, that's all. I thought it could be 3Dmax, while my other side of the mind think it's Lightwave.

I used a 3D modeling program called Maya to build and render her. Thanks for the compliment ^_^

Wasn't too hard since I used the XJ-9 schemtaic from Frederator as the template for building her ^_^. Thanks for the compliment!

Awesome 3d detail of her
TwT dang... I'm not really good learnin about Maya 3D... yet first time just only to figure how designing works.

Yeah, it takes a little practice to get used to the world of 3D ^_^. Thanks for the compliments!
