I am not sure - it was a long long time ago I did that.
Modelling took a while (some hours every day for at least one week). I tried a lot with my limited skills.
Actually this was my first render with Maxwell and I tried different materials and settings. That's why it took a few days, too. Now I am faster

There was a book called "Do androids dream of electric sheep".
Think it was written by Philip K Dick. You might have heard of the movie based on it "Blade runner".
