Yeah, it took like 18 months or something to make, but a lot of that was just cause I was busy with other stuff. Glad you like it!

FWIW the end of the taglines section recommends going to page 27 for something that presently begins on page 49. I'm guessing it grew a bit since then.

I give it away for very selfish reasons: in the hopes that we small but creative individual artists will craft better stories than what the big money companies are making.
I like your gallery by the way. +watch

I certainly like the image above- but I have no way of paying for the e-book, and just saying "zero" is a fair price didn't seem right. So no downloading.
If it's as good as above, then congratulations on a great effort!

Personally I find it a bit hard to use/notice when the rule of thirds (or the golden grid thing) is being used in a picture. But maybe it's just not for me. On the other hand I found the idea of vertical, horizontal and diagonal lines in a piece very helpful. It is something I have vaguely noticed before but couldn't quite put my finger on it. Overall what I've read until now was really informative and well-explained. I'll go read some more now

betsyillustration In reply to WindSwirl [2017-03-21 19:06:07 +0000 UTC]
Definitely, if you don't find value in something (like the thirds/golden ratio) then don't bother using it. Just use what makes sense. XD
