The thing that hits me about these concept arts are the paint. How you make the paint looks thick and heavy which resulted in this dark and heavy environment; which I believe is what you was trying to achieve and you did it very well. I think a little more consideration on adding little details will make your concept art more special, like how you normally achieve with your paintings . Still, this is just my preference.

At first I wasn't sure to critic because this piece looks finish already. But I think your concept art don't get the same attention that you normally get with your paintings. So I think you could add more details to make it more captivating; some details like floating rubbish in the mud, graffiti on the wall, some signs of life like people's footprints for example (assuming that there are still people or something living in this world).

Your scenery of post apocalypse world reminds me of some of concepts arts by John Wallin Liberto [link] . I could say he is my favourite concept artist. His works sometimes doesn't have too much detail but he still makes an impressive works that hook you in. Actually, colour and texture can work as well; instead of having a lot of object details.

Still, I think the important thing is what you want to achieve and make people think with your concept art in the way you want, your way. I am not sure what is expected in the industry though, I would be interested to learn that from you sometimes .

Thanks so much for your suggestions! I've been working on a few more digital pieces - hopefully they are more like my traditional style of work. They're more detailed than these ones.

Can't wait . Don't take my comments too seriously though, I don't want to be the one who critic and destroy good art. I discovered this year that there are a lot of myself I need to improve and a lot to learn; I will be working to catch up with you .

Everyone has strengths and weaknesses with their art - it's great to have others help you recognise these. Your art is amazing - you pay a lot of attention to detail and shading. I love it!
