"Tabernacle". A 6th century Northumberland re-creation and emersive experience project, 2009.Forest clearing concept. Painted in Photoshop CS4 using Wacom Bamboo tablet.

I admire people who are photographers and photo-manipulators, I really do! I'm absolutely terrible at taking pictures (no, really!) and even worse at altering the colours/lighting. I took a look at your page, and I'm really impressed. Awesome work mate! You capture a wonderful whimsical mood.

I love the lonely atmosphere you built with this. But the figure - doesn't he need a shadow? Or is he a ghost?

It was a really rough design back when I was learning how to use Photoshop. I never finished it properly - so yes, you're right, he does need a shadow.

Another beautiful work with soft colors, the guy (is he a man?) looks lost, but the feeling is we do not have to be afraid about him. The wood is not so scarry. A poor lonesome Robin Wood perhaps... By the way, another lovely paint!
