Your stylization and linework are really great! The picture flows well, has a great line of action, and the facial expression and richness of color is really great! Your colors are very consistent and I like how you've shaded.
If I could suggest something for your consideration, not every section (eg, the little bit of hair at the side of the hair and farther back) doesn't necessarily have to have a light source on it. You did very well at the part of the hair up front, but the hair in the back doesn't really need the highlights. The lighting below the knees could be improved, but it's still pretty cohesive! Nice work!

Even though I did commission this, I still like giving critique. So. When your shading, as temping as it may be, you do not want to use layer effects to add lighting and shading. Instead you want to be able to pick out the mid tone, shadow, and hightlight yourself. Here is an excellent video explaining how this works. www.youtube.com/watch?v=o3NhiG…
Second, keep in mind the color of light sources. As a general rule of thumb, the highlight will be closer to the color of the light source, the shadow will be closer to the color of the ambient or reflected light. The ambient light being the surrounding light, such as the blue color from the sky, or nearby objects.
Finally, when drawing eyes, make sure both pupils are facing the same direction or you end up with some pretty derpy faces.
